There’s this hummingbird that regularly visits my little container garden on my balcony. Like clockwork, it comes in the morning, then again in the afternoon, and then again in the early evening.

I have several different varieties of Lavender in one of my planters and it flits to each blossom stalk, sometimes resting on the wire trellis for a few seconds before flying away to its next destination.

I often stop what I’m doing to admire it if I happen to be there, and always fill with joy to witness such a marvelous creature. Today, I just happened to have my camera with me and snapped a few photos. Not the best pictures, but I hope you enjoy.

Update . . . The site is about 95 - 98% done. The PAWS page is done. The sidebar is done. I just have a few minor details left to tweak after I do some research. Thanks for visiting! Until next time, take care & stay well.

I’m keepin’ these doggies rollin’. This site is about at 85% to 90% updated and tweaked to where I want it. Yay! A few more details to take care of on the sidebars and in the Paws page.

Why has it taken me this long to jump into blogging? I have to admit, I’ve resisted getting a blog because then I’d feel pressured to have to keep it up. What do I write about? Me? Uh, I don’t think so. First of all, no one would be interested. See the comments? Hear the crickets. Secondly, I’m way too shy and private to be sharing intimate thoughts and personal details about my life. Well, duh. Guess I’m doing that right now, huh? Ok, easy does it. Baby steps.

Thirdly, and probably the biggest reason - drumroll please - installing a wordpress blog into my website seemed like such a daunting task. Especially with all the geekspeak n’ geek terms like UI and JQuery, XML-RPC API and phrases like i18n of xmrpc.php error messages. Say what?! You know I’m going to be gettin’ error messages, but I sure as heck don’t wanna be doing an i18n of xmrpc.php! I might get arrested!
