Colorful, Fun & Crafty 2008 Calendars

If you’re like me, I am now shopping around for cool 2008 calendars. Being a former student of Calligraphy, I really enjoy the old school method of handwriting notes, ideas and appointments in a yearly datebook. I will probably buy a Moleskine, my good ol’ trusty standby, and one or two fun n’ funky types. Here are some really neat ones I found on Etsy.com. 2008 Handmade Felt Pocket Calendar . Marion {marion.etsy.com} . $25
This is a one-of-a-kind 2008 pocket calendar inserted in a beautiful handmade wool felt pouch. The pouch is decorated with cute little flowers made out of wetfelted wool rovings and decorated with embroidery and buttons. It opens and closes securely with a velcro button.
There will probably be more awesome ones added from now until the beginning of the year, so be sure to check periodically for new additions by typing “2008″ on your Etsy search. Aside from supporting independent artists and craftsmen, they make great gifts too! When you find one you really like, make sure to grab them before they get snapped up from under you and get sold out. That happened to me last year! 
And I was pretty *grrrrr* with myself for not acting fast enough!
