42/90 Elle Belle - For chic, modern moms & their pampered babies
Etsy.com shop, Elle Belle is a great place to find unique, handmade, boutique quality baby items that make being a Mom easier and more enjoyable. The shop is a creative collaboration among owner, Stacey, her mother, Tressie, and Stacey’s three friends - Karie, Jennifer and Ann.
They are all mothers who share a love of crafting, each bringing their own speciality to the table. They found the need to improve a lot of the baby items they used, making it even more practical, chic or fun.
The following images are just a sampling of the terrific handmade goods you can find in their store. Click the photos to take you to each item’s detailed description.

Isn’t this adorable? These sweet pillowcase dresses are made by Elle Belle artist, Jennifer. Each one features adjustable ribbon ties at the shoulders so your little girl can get lots of wear out of it. They’re versatile and perfect for any season. Wear them as a sundress during warmer weather, or layer with a shirt or sweater and tights when it’s cooler.

This stylish sling was designed by Stacey and is made out of a retired designer fabric in a gorgeous color combo of aqua and brown.
Elle Belle ring slings are markedly different than most slings you’ll find on the market. They’re not as hot, bulky or awkward, hanging down to your ankles. The pleated shoulder helps the fabric spread out across your shoulder and back thereby distributing the baby’s weight more evenly. The lightweight aluminum rings are specifically made for slings, tested to hold up to 200 lbs. Although, I’d have to say if you’ve got a 200 lb baby, slings are probably the last thing on your mind!
Click the photo above to check out all the details and views of this lovely and practical baby carrier. It really is something special!

Make sure to visit their shop to view the rest of their fabulous items. Chic and practical, all their goods are carefully crafted with Mommies and their little ones in mind!

Maine artist, MaryAnn Anderson, is the multi-talented proprietor of Etsy.com shop, Backwoods Creations. She’s a prolific artist who was always crafty since she was kid. But despite mom’s counsel that idle hands can make trouble, she still finds the time to get into trouble!
Her amazing creations are comprehensive and diverse - from paintings, mixed media pieces and whimsical soft sculpture dolls and animals.
I really enjoyed looking through this artist’s photograph of works and took the liberty to showcase some fun and fanciful pieces I especially liked. These are not necessarily offered in her shop but she has similar items that are just as wonderful.

Just look at that expression! Each one seemingly has their own personality. Each one is original, unique and one-of-a-kind.

45/90 Sincerely Yours, from Vanessa Kimball

By day, she works as graphic designer for a design company. By night, well, among other things - she designs her own line of greeting cards and is the proprietor of her self named Etsy.com shop, Vanessa Kimball.
Vanessa is a newlywed as well as a recent graduate from Winona State University with a BA in Graphic Design and a minor in Mass Communication. When she was young, she played around with the Photoshop software on her family’s computer and realized design was something she wanted to do.
If you’re a regular reader of my blog, I’ve mentioned before that I was formally trained as a scribe. And in this day and age of lightning speed electronic communication, I love the old school method of handwriting appointments and dates in a datebook - and that includes writing correspondence too. There’s nothing better than to receive a beautiful or humorous handwritten note or card through regular snail mail so, I’m really happy to feature this lovely shop.
The following images are just a few samples of the wonderful cards available in her store. Each photo will link you directly to the item featured for more details.
Starting with the photos at the top is an adorable holiday card. This card perfectly captures that peaceful feeling, doesn’t it? I love it’s simple sweetness. And check out the little bird on the envelope. It’s all in the details!

Say “Guten Tag!” with this pretty holiday card with matching winter blue envelopes. It’s blank inside so you can personalize your own message.

Traditional holiday colors of red and green and an overall funky pod pattern grace the front of this Christmas card.
Each of the cards featured here come in a set of 4. If you’d like more, just send Vanessa a message and she’ll be happy to fill your order. Make sure to visit her shop to check out the rest of her charming designs!

46/90 Darjeeling Paper - Beauty, Function and Paper in Harmony

As a former student of Calligraphy, a handmade paper & stationery freak, and a lover of the old school method of handwriting notes, I find such great pleasure in a well made and beautifully designed handmade card.
There’s just something really special about the energy that gets passed on from one person to the next - from the artist who crafts it with great thought and care, to the buyer who handwrites their note with thoughts of goodwill, and finally to the recipient, who reads your words and receives the positive energy of your thoughts and feelings - all that goodness being passed on from one to the next like ripples in a pond.
And so, I’m happy and excited to present the following Etsy shop to you.
Michael Gresh is the multi-talented designer, crafter and proprietor behind Etsy.com shop, Darjeeling Paper. The shop is his way to hone his skills, play with new ideas using his vast collection of paper, and to showcase his finished works to the world.
All the of the items he offers are unique, special, and one-of-a-kind. The images here are just a few of my personal favorites from his shop. Click each photo to view a more detailed description.
Starting with the photo at the top, this unique hardcover journal featuring a striking India postage stamp certainly looks exotic. Perfect for all your writing needs from notes, ideas, lists and as a daily dairy. Beautiful!

The epitome of wabi-sabi, this elegant and beautiful blank journal is finished with a “faux-distressed” cardstock and features an interchangeable nameplate on the cover.

Bright and colorful, this gorgeous set of 4 cards features four different designs - white silhouettes on vibrant colors. Blank inside so they’re versatile for any occasion and your personalized message. So lovely!
Make sure to check out all of Michael’s beautiful handcrafted stationery and books - they make wonderful gifts for you or someone special.

47/90 Dream On - The Art of Mary Hamilton

Colorado native and Florida resident, Mary M Hamilton, has been an artist all her life. She is the talented proprietor behind Etsy.com shop, Dream On.
Her store showcases a colorful and lovely selection of paintings in various styles and medium - impressionistic watercolors, bold acrylic abstracts, and mixed media collages. Most of her work is influenced by the cultures and sights she’s encountered in her travels.
She has a degree in Art and has studied under a variety of local and nationally recognized artists. She has won several awards at juried exhibitions and shows, and her work is on exhibit in several Florida galleries.
I really enjoyed looking through Mary’s shop and selected a few pieces that caught my eye. Click the photos to take you directly to the item listing for a more detailed description.
Starting with the vibrant watercolor print at the top, this piece is titled, Pep Em Up. A little note of interest here - the chilies ristra that was the subject for her original watercolor hung on a sunny veranda of an inn in Abiquiu, NM, the home of Georgia O’Keefe.
I love the exuberant energy this piece conveys from the colors, gestures, shapes and textures that Mary has expertly painted. Words like “hot” and “passion” or “passion for life” certainly spring to mind!

The note cards above are a reproduction of Mary’s original watercolor titled, Here Kitty, Kitty!. This painting is of a bird from a bird shop in Florida where they are displayed in large cages out on the sidewalk in nice weather. Amusingly, one of them says “Here kitty, kitty” and another says “Meow”. Mary can’t help but smile when she thinks about them. Neither can I. Cheeky little birds, taunting one of their greatest adversaries.

And lastly, the lovely original watercolor above is of some beautiful flowers from Vail, Colorado. Mary explains that the altitude, temperatures and bright sunshine in the Summertime combine to make a near perfect atmosphere for some of the talented local gardeners to grow magnificent plants.
Make sure to stop by Mary’s shop, Dream On, to check out all of her other fantastic artworks, and visit her blog, Dreams About Art, to read all about her latest art news and features.

48/90 Nurture your Spirit with Celtic Goddess Jewelry

Floridian, Andee Harston, is the prolific and multi-talented artist behind Etsy.com shop, Celtic Goddess Jewelry. Celtic Goddess Jewelry was started in early 2001 but Andee has been an artist all her life. She loves to draw, paint, sculpt, make jewelry and take photographs. She is influenced by spiritual learning, nature, and goddess & celtic imagery. These influences are evident in the variety of items offered in her shop.
As a jewelry maker myself, I was drawn to the following featured pieces. Click the photos to take you directly to each item listing.
Starting with the image above, this is a gorgeous necklace that features a wonderful combination of sterling silver, Balinese silver beads and African Turquoise. Its focal is a beautiful Celtic knot and a silver half moon drop. You must take a closer look at all the fantastic little details to fully appreciate this stunning masterpiece!

This elegant pair of earrings are made of sparkling Swarovski Crystals with a beautiful Aurora Borealis effect, and two silver goddess charms. Aren’t they lovely? It’s a simple linear design that packs a lot of style.

And finally, this regal beauty entitled, Gift from Pandora’s Lover, is definitely goddess bling! It is made from lovely Amethyst gemstones. From the bold centerpiece to the delicate toggle closure, this is another piece you must take a closer look at to appreciate all the delightful, fine details!

49/90 That’s a Craftymoose!

New York based multi-talented crafter, Debbie, is the owner and artist behind Etsy.com shop, Craftymoose. The unusual and humorous name came about by combining her love of craft with her husband’s love of moose!
She is a self-taught, life-time crafter who enjoys painting, needlework, quilting, jewelry making and polymer clay. She particularly loves beads and enjoys the art of french beaded flowers.
Just check out one of her beautiful beaded flower creations I discovered among her flickr photos above. This one is not available in her shop but all the ones below are. Just click the photos to take you directly to each item listing for more detailed descriptions.

The beautiful french beaded roses ring above is meticulously made of a combination of vintage and new Czech glass beads. The vintage beads are about 60 years old. I cannot even begin to guess just how many beads were used to create this lovely piece but it certainly makes a wonderful wall hanging or table centerpiece, doesn’t it? I can imagine it on a lady’s dressing table to add a feminine, romantic touch!

This gorgeous striped wooden box was embellished with one of Debbie’s french beaded roses. The exquisite deep red rose was made with vintage glass beads that are about 65 years old. It’s quite special! It is decorated with 2 small sprigs of beaded baby’s breath and a cluster of leaves.
Guys - listen up. This would make a lovely gift in and of itself but it would make an even more stunning presentation if used for a special piece of jewelry for that romantic evening with that special someone, if you know what I mean!
Make sure to visit the Craftymoose shop to see more of Debbie’s wonderful handmade crafts. Her delightfully whimsical beaded animal dolls are not to be missed! And read her blog for all the latest news on Craftymoose crafts and artists features.

50/90 Lazy Cat Gifts are the cat’s meWow!
Etsy.com boutique Lazy Cat Gifts is a collaboration among friends, Kelly, Allison and Stasia. The shop name was inspired by their real-life, adorable pet cats named Nemo, Mittens, Zorro and Emma.
All three friends grew up with grandmothers who crocheted, so their craftiness is apparently inherited. Using both yarn and wire, altogether they crochet artisan bead jewelry, scarves, hats and other accessories. Their shop is a visual feast of finely made handmade goods that I had such a pleasure perusing!
See for yourself. The following images below are just a few of my favorite pieces. Each photo links you to the actual listing so that you may view the item description in greater detail.
Make sure to visit their shop, Lazy Cat Gifts, to see the rest of their fabulous items. And keep up to date with all the latest Lazy Cat crafty news by checking out their blog.
Enjoy!
