I am very concerned with the problems we are having in the gulf. It is killing a lot of our wild life and destroying our ecosystem. The amount of oil leaking is much higher than what the oil company is reporting. On the news last night they reported that it is at least equivalent to about an Exxon Valdez disaster every 4 days now.

You might as well slide the widget to the maximum amount below to have an idea of how much has leaked into the gulf so far.

On top of that, our current government is demonstrating its incompetence and repeating the whole Bush Katrina event.

The disaster is worrisome because it is still not resolved. I think the world wants to help the United States, but for some unknown reason our country is too proud to accept the help.

This leads me to believe that BP is still putting profits ahead of people and the environment. It seems they don’t want to lose the money and time they have already invested in this well and want to continue pumping oil. That seems to be their number one goal.

I have to agree with these outraged politicians.

First of all, I must say I love this site and everything it offers. I have been an avid follower and hope I can continue to put out good and whimsical content like the previous owner. Feel free to comment on any of the content. I will try to preserve most of the content, but may change the look to coincide with the change of authors.

I would love to post everyday, but realistically I will post only once every two weeks. I will focus my posts on gratitude, helping animals, and whimsical ideas. I think along the way I will learn what other interests I can post about. This will be a constant work in progress, but I hope the journey is a pleasurable one.
