Every so often, I get really excited about a piece of jewelry I’ve just made – and this is one of those! The first piece above is an easy-to-wear, one-of-a–kind, golden retriever necklace titled “Every Dog Has Its Day“.

It features artisan Lampwork beads by two of my favorite glass artists – the sweet and adorable golden retriever dog bead by Janet Crosby, and fun, whimsical discs by Dawn White.

The golden retriever bead was a holiday pressie from Janet last Christmas. She’s one of the most generous, kindest people I’ve ever met online!

One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit GRCGLA Rescue.

Another piece I’m excited about above is called “Poochini“. It features an adorably goofy dog bead by glass artist, Kim Yamakawa of Juju Beadz. This bead is made out of gray glass that’s been etched for a matte finish and is velvety soft to the touch.

A new favorite, this one was so much fun to make. It features an adorable girlie puppy generously and kindly donated for my “Paws For A Good Cause” effort by Lampwork Artist, Kim Yamakawa.

This sweet lil’ puppy has a tiny blue flower tucked behind her ear. I wired and planted her amidst some whimsical blue daisies by favorite Lampwork Artist, Dawn White.

Cute button and heart beads, also by Dawn, add the perfect finishing touches to this one-of-a-kind, easy to wear necklace.

I’ve been cranking out the jewelry lately and I couldn’t be happier. After a long creative drought, I am very thankful. I must follow where the muse takes me.

I have 3 new bracelets waiting in the wings to be listed in my Etsy shop this week, but here’s a sneak peek at one of a series of Golden Retriever pieces I’m creating for both GRCGLA Rescue and SCGR Rescue. 

A new favorite, the gorgeous lil’ kitty in the necklace above is handcrafted by one of my favorite Lampwork artists, Janet Crosby.  To highlight the lovely colors in the bead, I added lots of Peridot gemstones and Karen Hill Tribe silver.

The kitty comes with a sweet green special – a Bonus Pack of Cat Treats Gourmet Mixed Greens from Renee’s Garden. It’s 60 grams of Renee’s extra fancy blend of organically grown seeds for fresh rye, oats, barley and wheat greens – enough for multiple sowings of fast growing, healthy and delicious treats for your kitty (or kitties).

Yum. Just reading the description on the package makes me wish I was a cat! Meow!!!

And if you don’t have a green thumb – no worries. I’m far from an expert gardener and have grown Renee’s seeds for two seasons now. I can vouch for them. They’re of exceptional quality and very easy to grow. Just check out photos from my own pocket urban garden.
